At Merrydith Holiday Homes, we take great pride in creating thoughtfully designed, high-quality spaces where guests can relax and feel at home. The following Terms & Conditions are in place to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable stay for all.

1. Booking & Payment

We may collect and process the following types of personal information:

  • A booking is confirmed once full payment or a deposit (where applicable) has been received.
  • Any remaining balance must be paid in full one week prior to arrival, as specified at the time of booking.
  • We reserve the right to cancel bookings where payment has not been received by the due date.

2. Cancellation Policy

We may collect and process the following types of personal information:

  • Cancellations made 7-14 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within less than 7 days of arrival are non-refundable.
3. Check-in & Check-out
  • Check-in is available from 3:00 PM.
  • Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.
4. Guest Responsibilities
  • Guests are expected to treat the property with care and respect throughout their stay.
  • Any damages or breakages must be reported promptly.
  • Guests may be charged for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
  • The number of guests must not exceed the number stated in the booking.
5. House Rules
  • Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
  • Parties or events are not allowed unless agreed in advance.
  • We kindly ask guests to respect neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, particularly during late hours.
6. Security Deposit
  • A refundable security deposit may be required prior to arrival.
  • This will be returned after departure, subject to a satisfactory property inspection.
7. Cleaning
  • Each property is professionally cleaned and prepared to a high standard before your arrival.
  • We ask that guests leave the property in a reasonable condition.
8. Pets
  • Pets are not allowed
9. Liability
  • Merrydith Holiday Homes cannot accept responsibility for:
    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
    • Any injury sustained during your stay
  • Guests use the property and its facilities at their own risk.
10. Maintenance & Access
  • In the unlikely event that urgent maintenance is required, we reserve the right to access the property.
  • Wherever possible, we will notify guests in advance.
11. Complaints
  • Should any issues arise during your stay, please notify us as soon as possible so we can resolve them promptly.
  • We may not be able to address complaints raised after departure.
12. Force Majeure
  • We are not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, government restrictions, or utility failures.
13. Amendments
  • Merrydith Holiday Homes reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • The Terms & Conditions in place at the time of booking will apply.
